As a child’s mouth develops, it is common for teeth to be out of alignment. This is called malocclusion. It may be caused by genetics or habits. It can result in a variety of dental/oral imperfections. Malocclusion may also negatively impact a child’s appearance and/or function (i.e., chewing, biting, speaking…). The orthodontist at my kid’s dentist is qualified and experienced in providing children’s orthodontic treatments, including functional appliances, habit breakers, braces, invisalign...
